Blossom Tree
Snip your silver, sliding smile
Shed the twinkle from your eyes
Slide along down and down
Unwrap your comfort from my mind
A ruby shines in front of me
Shining there for all to see
Bite its flesh and hear the crunch
The sound that they all loved so much
Come and see my blossom tree
The sin is so inviting
Come and see my blossom tree
The sin is so inviting
Could be said
I went to sleep
I prayed the Lord my soul to keep
Gave away grains of the ground
To give the best that could be found
But if you peel the paper bit by bit
Away from Gods home grown logic
Squeeze the blood that runs within
Into the sound that they did sing
Come and see my blossom tree
The sin is so inviting
Come and see my blossom tree
The sin is so inviting
